Sarah Gewert, membre du conseil d'administration pour le marketing et les ventes, quitte STIHL

At its meeting on 25 September, the Supervisory Board of STIHL AG agreed to the request of Sarah Gewert to terminate her contract early by mutual consent. As a result, CEO Michael Traub will assume responsibility for the marketing and sales division in addition to his current duties. He brings decades of experience in this field and is recognized as a leading expert on the North American market, a region of great importance to STIHL.

‘With Sarah Gewert, we are losing a proven expert in the field of marketing and sales.  Ms. Gewert has achieved a great deal over the last ten years. She has renewed our brand identity, created our wonderful ‘brand world in Waiblingen and brought STIHL's omni-channel strategy to life. ‘After ten intensive and fulfilling years at STIHL, I have decided to continue my career outside the company. Although it is difficult to say goodbye to so many wonderful colleagues at STIHL, the moment has come for me to take on new challenges,’ says Executive Board Member Sarah Gewert on her departure. 

The Cologne-born economist began her professional career at STIHL in 2014 as Head of Marketing Communications. In 2020, she took over as Head of Division and managed the STIHL Group's global marketing communications. At the beginning of 2023, Sarah Gewert was appointed to the Executive Board and was responsible for Marketing and Sales. In this role, she significantly strengthened STIHL's marketing strategy and brand positioning and successfully introduced online marketing.
